Meghan Markle is reportedly reconsidering her family’s upcoming UK visit due to concerns over her children’s safety following a leak of their plans, according to a source.
The 42-year-old mother of two had initially planned to return to the UK with Prince Harry and their children next month, but it’s suggested that her worries may lead to a significant change in plans, resulting in Harry making another solo trip.
The insider revealed to OK! Magazine that Harry isn’t thrilled about the potential alteration in plans as he feels a stronger bond with the UK now more than ever, particularly since his father and sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, also 42, disclosed their cancer battles.
“It’s now got to the point where Meghan doesn’t want to come to the UK with the children. She just doesn’t feel safe,” the source claimed. “The situation is now about whether the family should attend with increased security or Harry should go it alone.”, reports the Mirror.
According to the source, Harry, 39, has implored his wife to reconsider her decision, telling her “I don’t want to do this alone” as he hopes to have Meghan’s support during the tough period.

Harry is reluctant to make solo trips to the UK and would prefer his family to join him on visits, but behind-the-scenes issues are making this difficult, a source has claimed.
The Sussexes’ planned trip to the UK for the Invictus Games 10th Anniversary Service on May 8 is now in doubt after details of their visit were leaked, raising security concerns. “Both Harry and Meghan were planning to come to the UK, but when the exact time and date of their appearance were made public, she started to rethink that idea,” an insider said.
The source added: “It was always known that the Invictus Games 10th Anniversary Service would take place in May, but the Sussexes were trying to keep the exact date from the public due to fears over their security. When that date was inadvertently added to the official St Paul’s website it changed the whole dynamics of the planned visit.”

The insider disclosed, “Meghan doesn’t want to ‘be thrown back into an anxiety-fueled visit to England where she feels like she’s not wanted’.”
Adding to the complexity of their potential UK visit, Prince Harry is said to be caught in a tug-of-war of emotions due to recent health scares within the Royal family. The revelation of King Charles’ cancer battle and Kate Middleton’s own health struggles have put Harry in a difficult position.
Sources close to the Sussexes say Harry is struggling to balance his support for his sister-in-law with his commitment to his wife. “Harry and Meghan have lent their support to both the King and Kate during recent weeks,” shared the source. “Both of them were very upset about the news surrounding them.”
“Harry is keen to go and visit both the King and Kate when he comes to the UK, but he knows it will be a difficult task to get Meghan to join him. She’s been through a lot, but so now are his father and sister-in-law. He wants to be there for his family but has to find the right balance between supporting them and supporting his wife at the same time.”
It’s understood that Harry has been in personal contact with Kate since her diagnosis and is “deeply concerned” about her health. The Duke has reportedly reached out to Kate in a bid to improve relations between the Sussexes and the Cambridges, according to a source.
“Reaching out to Kate has come from his side, but he’s extended well wishes on behalf of both him and his wife,” the source said. “Harry would love for Archie and Lilibet to have a better relationship with their cousins and even the children of some of his friends. He [Harry] feels like they have been away from the UK for far too long and wants to start building a life here. Not full-time, but a second home which they can visit regularly.”
