Prince William Revealed the Unique Pet He & Kate Adopted for Their Three Kids
While we know Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have quite a few pets, from dogs to chickens, Prince William and Kate Middleton’s pet situation is a bit of a question mark.
Many believed they just had a dog or two, but it turns out, there’s another unique pet in the twist that their three kids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, have.
Well, in a recent appearance at the Woodgate Valley Urban Farm in Birmingham, William revealed a little tidbit about the family of five’s home life. While petting guinea pigs at the event earlier this week, he revealed to the kids that his children have some guinea pigs.
“These guys are pretty cool,” he said, via Hello Magazine. “We’ve got guinea pigs at home and they’re not like this.”
He added, “I spend my life cleaning out the guinea pig cage because the children forget to do it. The ones we’ve got at home, they’re off. You have to keep them constantly stroked and looked after.”
Isn’t that so precious? The royal kiddos have guinea pigs, and apparently anxious ones at that, that need lots of love. It’s always cool when we get rare fun facts like this from William and Kate.
If you’re wondering if the Wales family has any more pets, they do! Per People, they got a new puppy in 2021, around the time their beloved dog, Lupo, the English cocker spaniel, passed away.
For those who don’t know, William and Kate have been together on and off since 2003. They married in 2011 (and recently celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary). Since their nuptials, they have since welcomed three children named George, 10, Charlotte, 9, and Louis, 6.
