Meghan Markle and Prince Harry make major pivot after bombshell attacks on royals
Story by Dorothy Reddin
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry made a major pivot after multiple bombshell attacks on the Royal Family, GB News’s Digital Royal Editor has claimed.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped down as working royals in 2020 and subsequently launched several attacks on members of the Firm most recently through a Netflix series and Harry’s autobiography.
However, Harry and Meghan have recently made an effort to become more charitable with their foreign visits, according to GB News’s Digital Royal Editor, Svar Nanan-Sen, and the Royal Correspondent, Cameron Walker.
The duo sat down for this week’s episode of The Royal Record podcast to discuss the “major pivot” made by the Sussexes.
Cameron said: “What I have seen from Prince Harry and Meghan recently is, I think, a genuine drive to focus on their charitable work and less about harking back to the past and their lives as working royals.
“When Spare was released, followed by the Netflix series, and then Oprah and things like that, their popularity, particularly in the United Kingdom but I think to some extent in the United States as well, their popularity decreased and they became less popular.
“If I were a PR person advising the Sussexes, I would suggest that by releasing new information the same effects would take place.
“It would have a negative impact on their popularity in the United Kingdom and the United States.”
Earlier this week, it was announced that the Duke of Sussex’s memoir Spare would be re-released as a paperback version in October.
However, the publisher confirmed that no new bombshell chapters would be included.
Cameron added: “Maybe Prince Harry is aware of the negative polling as well and has decided not to release any new information, because he did say in one of the promotional interviews that he could have written a whole other book on stuff that he just chose to keep out of Spare.
“But clearly he’s decided at the moment that the time is not right, if ever, to release further information. He’s just going to wipe his hands a bit – ‘Now that’s it. Let’s focus on the future.'”

Svar said: “Yes, I think you’re right, because the Netflix documentary came out in December 2022, and then Spare came out in January 2023.
“So one straight after the other. Now they seem to be in a new era. We didn’t see any shots taken at the Royal Family during their time in Colombia or Nigeria.
“So it looks like they’re going in a different direction, which I think is a good thing for their brand and also a good thing for the Royal Family so that all of them can move on.
“The feud is ongoing between William and Harry, it still seems there is a long way to go in that.”

Princess Kate Adds a Boho Spin to Her Look During Rare Family Outing
Story by Rosa Sanchez

Princess Catherine looked to be in good spirits as she joined her family for Sunday service this past weekend.
She and husband Prince William were photographed driving to Crathie Kirk, a church on the royal family’s Balmoral estate in Scotland, to join King Charles III and Queen Camilla for the service. Other family members, including Prince Edward and Duchess Sophie, and Princess Anne’s husband, Tim Lawrence, also attended. (See the photos here.)
For the day, Kate wore an elegant look with a boho spin. It was composed of long brown tartan trench coat from Holland Cooper, plus a brown felt hat adorned with several feathers, from Hicks & Brown. She also accessorized with dangly gold earrings.
Prince William looked sharp in a blue suit and crisp white shirt, while Charles and Camilla opted for colorful Scottish tartan ensembles.
Kate’s unexpected appearance at the family event marks the first time we’ve seen her since she made a surprise appearance at Wimbledon in July. Then, the princess looked exquisite in a royal purple dress next to daughter Princess Charlotte and sister Pippa Middleton.
Prior to the tennis match, Kate’s last public appearance was at Trooping the Colour in June. Then, she looked radiant in a white long-sleeved midi dress with black trim by Jenny Packham.
The Princess of Wales has been lying low as she continues to undergo treatment for cancer. She revealed the news of her diagnosis in a candid video message in March, and explained that she is being treated with preventative chemotherapy and “getting stronger every day.”
