Meghan Markle created a rift between Prince Harry, Prince William and Princess Kate, according to Gary Goldsmith.
The Duke of Sussex had a close relationship with his brother Prince William and his sister-in-law Kate before meeting Meghan Markle.
However, the Sussexes are currently not on speaking terms with the Prince and Princess of Wales after their relationship deteriorated over the last few years.
Goldsmith claimed that Meghan “created so much drama” when she became a member of the Royal Family.
He said during last night’s episode of the TV programme: “I have the opinion that Harry was, really loved, massively loved, and when they were a threesome – Kate, William and Harry – were really comfortable together, loved.
“And then suddenly there’s an extra dynamic that comes in, puts a stick in the spokes and creates so much drama that I don’t generally think is there, and rewrote the history and said how unhappy he was, and I just don’t think that’s fair.”
Goldsmith’s comments were referencing Prince Harry’s autobiography Spare which was published in January 2023.
The Duke of Sussex unleashed multiple public attacks on Prince William and Princess Kate in his book.
Prince Harry did not see the Prince or Princess of Wales during his recent trip to the UK in February.
Harry visited his father King Charles following the monarch’s cancer diagnosis.
During a TV interview with Good Morning America last month, the duke confirmed that he has several trips to the UK planned for 2024.
