Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are feeling the love in Colombia.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex kicked off their tour to the South American country on Aug. 15, where they shared a sweet exchange during a stop at the National Centre for the Arts in Bogotá. While taking in a cultural performance, Prince Harry was spotted giving Meghan a kiss on the forehead while hugging her with one arm. Meghan, 43, smiled and leaned into her husband, 39, during the public display of affection.
Meghan also put a hand on Harry’s knee as they sat together at the arts center.
Throughout their first day in Bogotá, the couple were also spotted holding hands on several occasions, from their arrival to a charter school visit.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Colombia Trip: All the Best Photos…So Far
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary in May, have openly shown their affection since they took their relationship public in 2017.
Prince Harry and Meghan stepped back from their royal roles in 2020, but there are no rules that govern public displays of affection between members of the British royal family. Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip set a stoic tone by largely avoiding such gestures during royal engagements during their 73-year marriage. While younger generations of the family have relaxed the stance at their own discretion, royal couples like King Charles and Queen Camilla as well as Prince William and Kate Middleton usually refrain from PDA.

Since they made their public debut as a couple at the Invictus Games in Toronto in 2017, Prince Harry and Meghan have held hands, rubbed each other’s backs and linked arms in public. They even snuck their signature move into Prince Louis’ official christening portraits in 2018 and shared a kiss on the lips at Prince Harry’s charity polo match later that summer.
“Meghan is used to being touchy-feely, and Harry is the same,” former palace spokesman Dickie Arbiter previously told PEOPLE. “Harry has always been tactile.”

Find Out Why Prince William and Princess Kate Almost Never Hold Hands in Public (Even at the Taj Mahal!)
During Meghan’s very first royal outing in 2017, following their engagement announcement, the pair held hands and linked arms during a walkabout in Nottingham, England.
“While Prince Harry and Meghan holding hands is atypical for royal engagements, it is a seemingly welcomed gesture to show unity and celebration of their engagement period,” etiquette expert and Beaumont Etiquette founder Myka Meier told PEOPLE at the time. “There is no protocol that says they can not show affection on official engagements, and this gesture makes them relatable and lovable to the public.”
“Meghan and Prince Harry holding hands at a royal engagement is a refreshingly modern approach to their new role both as a couple and as representatives of the royal family,” she added.
