GMB: Guests asked if Meghan was made to feel unwelcome in UK
Meghan Markle’s reason for skipping out on Prince Harry’s trip to the UK has been revealed, according to a royal expert.
Royal Editor for the Mail on Sunday Charlotte Griffiths claims the Duchess of Sussex won’t be joining her husband as she “knows she would get a bad reception”.
Harry will be going it alone for the upcoming Invictus Games event, before joining Meghan on a trip to Nigeria.
Their latest getaway comes after the former Suits star discovered she is “43 percent Nigerian”.
However, despite being “all for the Invictus Games”, according to GB News host Patrick Christys, Meghan won’t be in the UK to celebrate its 10th anniversary.

Griffiths agreed the decision is “so sad”, claiming Harry will be “so lonely” at the May 8 event at St Paul’s Cathedral.
She says his wife’s absence could make his planned appearance seem “very stark”.
“That’s where his parents got married. It’s going to be a very sombre and senior event,” Griffiths told Christys.

“It’s a really important part of Harry’s soul, and the kind of thing he’d want his wife, maybe even his kids by his side for.”
Meanwhile, the Royal Editor speculated that Meghan will be preparing her outfits for the Sussexes’ upcoming tour of Nigeria.
As for why she’s skipping the trip to the UK, Griffiths suggested: “If she was to come to the UK, it would be really difficult.
“It would bring up terrible memories of the past for her and awkward moments when she was in various churches and things.

“But she’s a strong and tough woman, we know that about her, and she’s always telling us how brave she is.
“So if I were her, I would I’d be brave and walk up those steps. It would look great for her Netflix show anyway.”
Harry and Meghan are planning two more shows for the streaming platform after their tell-all documentary series.
However, their children Archie and Lilibet won’t be making an appearance.
