LONDON, UK: Amid speculation surrounding Prince Harry’s upcoming visit in May to Britain, royal author Tom Quinn suggests that the Duke will face scrutiny if he chooses not to meet with his father, King Charles III, and brother Prince William during his trip, OK Magazine reported.
Quinn emphasized that Prince Harry’s absence would raise questions and speculation as it may be perceived as an attempt to avoid the potential awkwardness of meeting his family members.
Prince Harry’s next UK visit
“If he decides not to come, it will take some explaining because everyone will assume it’s because he doesn’t want the awkwardness of having to meet his brother or having to choose not to meet him,” royal author Tom Quinn dished when asked if the California-based Duke will attend the Invictus Games celebration on May 8.
“Not coming would be worse than finding some sort of compromise where Harry sees William for 10 minutes or comes up with some reason why he doesn’t have time to see his brother and his father and has to get back to the States quickly to be with his children,” he added. “But no one is going to be fooled by these excuses.”
This discussion comes in the context of reports indicating that Prince Harry is feeling apprehensive about his return to Britain due to “serious security risk.”
According to an anonymous source, “The prince is expected to return to the UK in May, however, Harry’s team wanted the exact date of the appearance to be kept confidential for safety reasons.”
The Duke of Sussex is reportedly anxious about his upcoming trip to Britain, which includes attending a 10th-anniversary celebration for the Invictus Games at St Paul’s Cathedral. This apprehension is attributed to the sensitive information he disclosed in his memoir ‘Spare’, where he detailed his military service in Afghanistan.
In the memoir, Prince Harry revealed that he had been involved in combat and claimed to have killed approximately 25 Taliban fighters during his deployments in Afghanistan in the late 2000s and early 2010s.
His accounts, perceived by some as boastful, drew scrutiny from numerous royal analysts and garnered significant media attention following the book’s release in January 2022.
The source added, “That’s why his team was so adamant about keeping his whereabouts on a need-to-know basis. Whenever he’s appeared at events in the U.K. in the last few years, there have been last-minute announcements due to this very reason.”
“The fact that St Paul’s has published the exact time and date of an event he is due to attend on their official website weeks in advance is seen as a serious security risk,” the insider observed.
Internet anticipates awkward reunion moments

Another commenter wrote, “As long as he doesn’t bring HER along.”
Additionally, comments were reflecting negative sentiments toward Prince Harry, with one user saying, “Harry The TRAITOR NOT NEEDED by the RF and NOT WELCOME in the U.K.”
