Prince Harry has seemingly changed his mind on writing a new book following up his bombshell memoir, Spare, which released in January 2023.
The younger son of King Charles is hoping to repair his relations with his family which is why he is willing to scrap the second book for it, per royal expert Ingrid Seward.
Seward pointed out to 9honey that Harry was “very stupid” to criticise Camilla in the memoir and it “certainly damaged his relationship with his father that he criticised his wife so openly.”
While the expert believes that the King is “not holding any grudges” against Harry, Charles has just “withdrawn” from him given his “busy life.”
Prince Harry had also visited his father (albeit in a 30-minute meeting) after he got a personal phone call from him about his cancer diagnosis.
Seward also noted a change in the Duke of Sussex during his most recent interview with BBC America following the meeting.
“I can’t see that Harry’s up for writing another book,” Seward suggested. “I would think the other book, the real corker, would be Meghan. That’s got to be [on it’s way] because that’s really going to be the only way she’s going to make serious money is [to write it].”
The Duke of Sussex’s debut book was ghost-written by J. R. Moehringer and published by Penguin Random House as part of the Sussexes’ four-book deal with the publisher last year.
