The Prince of Wales married Middleton in 2011.
The Royal Family is famed for their enigma and carefully maintained shroud of mystery, although not quite in the context of the Princess of Wales who has disappeared from the public eye after undisclosed surgery in January.
Kate Middleton underwent the treatment to her abdominal region at The London Clinic for non-cancer related reasons, but almost two months later she is yet to be seen by anyone except her close family.
This shouldn’t be a shock, it’s actually very consistent with what Kensington Palace said as they noted she wouldn’t return to public duties until after the Easter period which as at the end of March but it’s not stopped speculation from fans and media.
The Prince of Wales, who is the heir to the British throne, attended St. David’s Day (the Welsh national saint) on March 1 just 24 hours after Kensington Palace said Middleton is doing well and they won’t be providing regular updates.
So, Prince William, her husband, didn’t give much of an update to Welsh schoolchildren but he did calm any rumors that she is secretly dead as he said, “”That’s really kind of you, thank you so much. That’s really kind; I will pass those on to Catherine.”
Kensington Palace’s statement
The Dutchess of Cornwall hasn’t been spotted in public since Christmas Day and has needed her family to rally around her as she bids to recover from whatever the undisclosed surgery aimed to treat.

It wouldn’t be that unusual if King Charles III hadn’t been seen in public despite undergoing prostate surgery and receiving a cancer diagnosis, making everything around Middleton seem even more intriguing.
Yet despite the conspiracies, the family remained tight-lipped. Of course, that was until February 29 when they said that she is actually fine.
“Kensington Palace made it clear in January the timelines of the princess’ recovery and we’d only be providing significant updates,” a spokesman said to HuffPost. “That guidance stands.”
