Prince William Had a Pub Outing with Kate Middleton’s Mom Carole
Prince William is leaning on his mother-in-law, Carole Middleton, for support while his wife, Kate Middleton, undergoes cancer treatment.
Last week, the Prince of Wales, 41, was spotted at a pub with his mother-in-law. While little is known about the outing, it seemed to be a casual meet-up.
Royal expert Richard Eden discussed the sighting with the Daily Mail. “I’m told he popped into a pub in North Norfolk at the weekend with his mother-in-law, who is said to have been staying with the Prince and Princess of Wales for Easter,” Eden said. “It was all very low-key, with no great fanfare. He just walked in and through the pub.”

The pub outing came a few weeks after the Princess of Wales confirmed her cancer diagnosis in a heartbreaking video shared on her official social media account.
While speaking directly into the camera, Catherine revealed, “In January, I underwent major abdominal surgery in London, and at the time, it was thought that my condition was non-cancerous. The surgery was successful, however, tests after the operation found cancer had been present.”
She continued, “My medical team therefore advised that I should undergo a course of preventive chemotherapy, and I’m now in the early stages of that treatment.”
After the news went viral, the Prince and Princess of Wales released a joint statement thanking the public for the outpouring of support they received following the announcement.
It read: “The Prince and Princess are both enormously touched by the kind messages from people here in the U.K., across the Commonwealth, and around the world in response to Her Royal Highness’ message. They are extremely moved by the public’s warmth and support and are grateful for the understanding of their request for privacy at this time.”
