Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly getting a UK PR professional onboard to repair their image back home.
Rumour has it they’re on the lookout for ways to polish up their tarnished image amidst an ongoing fallout with the Royal Family.
Despite the rocky relations, the Duke of Sussex is said to be willing to return part-time with royal duties to assist his ill dad, King Charles. But many believe he’s crossed too many lines with his explosive TV confessions and accounts in his book, Spare.
The fact that they’re thought to have hired a top-notch PR specialist to help improve their image in the UK is really telling, according to a royal expert. Speaking on an episode of Palace Confidential, Daily Mail’s Royal editor, Rebecca English, gave her take on why she thinks the couple chose this moment to heal their reputation – and it’s likely due to Meghan’s ambitions.

According to Rebecca, Meghan, who just kicked off her latest venture with American Riviera Orchard, could be the one behind the decision. The expert said: “I suspect it’s also got something to do with the big plans that we’re hearing about that Meghan is going to launch this big commercial project. I presume this commercial project will have some sort of residence in this country.”
The new brand is set to sell a wide variety of products from cookbooks to jam and homeware. While Meghan is yet to confirm publicly what American Riviera Orchard will be selling, official trademark documents have appeared to reveal all.

Documents filed on February 2 by a company called Mama Knows Best, LLC based in Beverly Hills, and pending review by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, state the brand be selling a variety of items, including tableware, table cutlery, servingware, decanters, dinnerware, chargers, napkin rings, and table placecard holders.
The new brand was announced just hours before Prince William’s speech at the Diana Legacy Awards in London on Thursday (14 March). Some said the timing was a “deliberate” move amid the couple’s rift with Harry’s older brother.

Other reasons behind the timing of the release suggested it coincided with their departure from their royal life. Some fans quickly clocked a special meaning the date might have, as it coincides with their “freedom flight” in 2020, which officially marked their move to the US and the end of their time as working royals.
