Prince Harry is said to be “extremely disappointed” over the latest developments surrounding his security in the UK as he’s desperate to spend more time in his home country with his children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, a source has claimed.
The Duke of Sussex was due to return to Britain next month for the Invictus Games 10th Anniversary Service at St.
Paul’s Cathedral in London on May 8, however, he’s currently locked in discussions over his attendance and his security detail, with one of the options being appearing digitally instead.
Harry’s predicament comes after he lost a bid to appeal his case against the Home Office over police protection, leaving him and his family without the automatic right to use the royal security services.
An insider told Express.co.uk: “Harry is extremely disappointed by the decisions made regarding his security. His request for security was not just for his personal safety but also for his family, the public and the officers assigned to him.”
They added: “Harry wants to spend more time in the UK with his family. But there’s no way he can do that while a question mark hangs over his security detail.”
