Sat in the grounds of Windsor Castle, the 42-year-old princess told the world about her diagnosis following weeks of speculation and baseless conspiracy theories about her health on social media.
A new YouGov survey revealed that 76 per cent of Britons have a positive view of Kate – a six-point increase since the start of the year.
Elsewhere, the late Queen;s favourite grandson, Peter Phillips, has suffered a fresh heartbreak as he split from his girlfriend of three years, Lindsay Wallace.
Princess Anne’s son began dating Ms Wallace in 2021 after splitting from his former wife Autumn Kelly with whom he shares two children.

Annette Witheridge was a US-based British journalist and was tasked with tracking down Andrew in New York in 2011.
Appearing on Lorraine on Tuesday, Ms Witheridge explained how she followed several leads to find the Prince at Epstein’s lavish residence, where she eventually captured a key photograph of him with Epstein.
She said: “I didn’t think he [Andrew) would be stupid enough to stay there, because he [Epstein] had been to prison and was a sex offender, but as I arrived I heard British accents.”

Princess Eugenie to ‘support’ sister Beatrice after Netflix feature
Princess Eugenie is set to “support” her sister Beatrice after her role in their father’s disastrous Newsnight interview was featured on Netflix.
Beatrice was featured briefly in the new film, Scoop, earlier this month about Prince Andrew’s infamous interview about his friendship with Jeffery Epstein.
The 35-year-old is also said to feature more prominently in another three-part series about the interview on Amazon Prime later this year.
A royal source told OK! Magazine that Beatrice is “dreading” the upcoming series and that she feels “unfairly targetted”.
“Beatrice is luckily a very resilient young woman. She is trying her very best to stay focused and weather the storm, but it’s been tough for her,” they said.
“Eugenie and her close friends have been there for support and she’s putting on a very brave face. Both girls [Beatrice and Eugenie] wish the whole thing would just go away but fear they could be tarred with this brush for the rest of their lives. It’s difficult to see them like this.”

What’s in the royal diary today?
The Princess Royal is set for a busy day today as she steps out on two official engagements.
According to the royal diary, Princess Anne will visit a dockyard in Fife, Scotland to see the HMS Venturer being built.
She will then travel over 250 miles to Colne, Lancashire on a second engagement.
Here, Anne will visit the Trawden Community Projects at the Trawden Arms.
The Trawden Forest Community Centre, Shop & Library posted on social media about the event, saying they were “really excited to welcome Princess Anne to our village”.

Tampon tax campaigner speaks on receiving MBE
A lead tampon tax campaigner has spoken out on the power of the internet upon receiving honours at Windsor Castle on Tuesday.
Laura Coryton, founder of Stop Taxing Periods, was recognised for her services to charitable campaigning by being made an MBE.
Speaking to the PA news agency, the 30-year-old said she was proud of her role in the campaign and that it was “the highlight of my life so far”.
She said: “There’s so many campaigns before mine that were talking about tampon tax, trying to get it axed, but it wasn’t really until we could utilise the internet that we could create this.”
It was announced in January that consumers would no longer pay VAT on “essential and environmentally-friendly” period pants, following a separate two-year campaign.
Ms Coryton said campaigning on tampon tax had “definitely” helped to pave the way for further change, but insisted that more could still be done for women trying to access menstrual products.

Harry and Meghan unpopular, new poll shows
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are among the least popular royals in the eyes of Britons, a new poll claimed.
Harry only garnered 31 per cent of positive opinions while Megahn gained only 26 per cent.
However, the duke and duchess are more popular among younger brits, with 18-24 year olds tending to be more positive towards them than their elders.

The Princess of Wales has been crowned Britain’s favourite royal in a poll describing her as popular “across the generations”.
A new YouGov survey revealed that 76 per cent of Britons have a positive view of Kate – a six-point increase since the start of the year.
The surge in popularity comes weeks after the princess revealed she had been diagnosed with cancer in a heartfelt video message following weeks of speculation around her health.
Her husband, William, also garnered the support of 73 per cent of the country while 63 per cent had a favourable opinion of King Charles.
When it comes to the institution of the monarchy in general, 58 per cent of Britons overall have a positive view, but this ranges from 79 per cent of the over-65s to 32 per cent of 18-24 year olds.
