Prince George has had a spotlight on him since literally the second he was born thanks to being second in line to the throne (relatable), but despite the fact that he was born famous, this mini royal has a pretty private life.

Prince George’s parents, Prince William and Kate Middleton, have put in a lot of effort to make sure their kids’ privacy is protected, which is why we very rarely see paparazzi photos of them and photos that are released happen on their terms.

That said, Prince George has been attending formal working royal events since he was a wee baby when he accompanied his parents on a royal tour of New Zealand and Australia in 2014 and pretty much stole the show.

Special shoutout to when he tried to eat Kate Middleton’s hair whilst wearing baby lederhosen! Though technically his first public appearance was mere hours after his birth, when Kate and William presented him on the steps of the Lindo Wing, which was pretty much the IRL version of Simba being held up by Rafiki in The Lion King.

Now that Prince George is growing up, he’s been stepping out for more and more public appearances with his mom and dad—from sporting events like Wimbledon, to Trooping the Colour, to his grandfather King Charles III’s coronation.
